Fitment and installation

• All vehicles require mounting modification. Confirm the selected tank's tunnel dimensions, cap interface and fuel-valve connections before ordering.
• 011496 accepts cam-type caps only.
• 011497 and 011499 accept right-hand screw-type caps only. Some cap years may fit tightly; insert the cap level for correct engagement.

• One bare fuel tank body per selected option. Cap, fuel valve and plug bolts are sold separately.

Installation notes

• Inspect for dents and leaks before painting or modification.
• A leak test is required before painting.
• Internal rust removal and internal tank coating are mandatory.
• Test fit before installation and painting, then carry out the required mounting modifications.
• Seal the two unused fuel-valve ports with the appropriate separately purchased plug bolts.
• Confirm compatibility of separately purchased caps and fuel valves; consult the motorcycle workshop for installation and fabrication.
