• Two 1/4 NPT fuel outlets. Close the unused outlet with a compatible plug bolt.

Fitment and installation

• Modification is required on every vehicle; this is not a direct bolt-on tank. Check frame clearance, tunnel dimensions, brackets, cap and petcock arrangement with your motorcycle workshop.
• 001572 accepts cam-type gas caps only.
• 001740 accepts right-side screw-type gas caps only. Some model-year caps fit tightly; insert the cap level and check fit before finishing.

Package contents

• One tank body per selected option. Gas cap, petcock and outlet plug bolt are purchased separately.

Installation notes

• Before painting or modification, test-fit the tank and perform a leak test.
• Remove rust from inside the tank and apply an internal tank coating before use; these treatments are not supplied by the manufacturer.
• Have fitting and fabrication performed by a qualified motorcycle workshop.
