Overview
Specifications
- Brand: Kuryakyn
- Material: aluminum body with EPDM rubber pads
- Supplied mounting screw: 5/16-24 × 1 inch
Fitment and installation
- For compatible Harley-Davidson shift levers using the supplied 5/16-24 mounting screw; check lever geometry and operating clearance before installation.
- Do not use on Sportster XL models with mid controls.
With the motorcycle parked level, ignition off and the motorcycle cool, remove the old peg and its hardware; they are not reused. Keep the metal pin inside the new peg. Insert the new screw from the inside of the shift lever, add the internal lock washer and apply a small amount of blue threadlocker. Fit the peg, adjust its angle and tighten while holding it in position.
The shift lever may need to be removed to reach its inner side; follow the motorcycle service manual for that work. Check every fastener, including preassembled fasteners, before riding and inspect them periodically.
