Installation notes

• Read the instructions first. Park on firm, level ground, switch off the ignition and let the engine cool completely.
• The manual requires adhesive bonding above 50°F (10°C) and prohibits installation below that temperature.
• Clean the mounting area with warm soapy water and a clean rag, removing grease, oil, dirt, wax and polish. Let it dry completely, wipe with the supplied alcohol pad, then let it dry completely again.
• Test-fit and mark alignment with masking tape. Rub the adhesive backing before peeling it away, align the accent and press firmly for 1 minute. Full bonding takes 24 hours; remove the alignment tape.
• Allow the full 24-hour bonding period before riding.
• For the original mounting area; check the actual shape before purchase.
