Installation notes

• Keep the supplied mounting spacers fully seated during installation.
• Install the correct right and left shocks with the head-tube fittings facing the inside of the vehicle; route the hose against the supplied brackets to avoid saddlebag contact.
• Complete final upper and lower shock-mount tightening with both wheels resting on the ground, using the vehicle manufacturer’s specified torque.
• The manufacturer requires installation exclusively by a specialised workshop. Consult the exact application manual; contact a Bitubo technician if its instructions are unclear.
• For vehicles without a Tour-Pak only. Select the corresponding Tour-Pak-equipped application for vehicles fitted with a Tour-Pak.
• Follow the exact application manual for shock orientation and reservoir-hose routing; check clearance to the saddlebags.
• Check rear-fender and belt-guard clearance and the alignment of the upper and lower shock mounts.
• A change in ride height may require a different side stand.
