Fitment and installation

• For compatible 1982–2019 Harley-Davidson models with dual-cable throttle controls.
• Requires 1-inch handlebars.
• Not for XG Street models or electronic-throttle applications.
• Compatible with aftermarket internal-bar heaters; not compatible with OEM heated grips that contain the heating element inside the grip.

• 1 left/clutch grip, 1 right/throttle grip, 1 tube of adhesive and installation instructions. Throttle Boss is not included.

Installation notes

• Retain the cable ferrules and original switch-housing fasteners. Inspect and lubricate the cables, adjust them correctly, and confirm safe throttle operation and clearance before riding. Consult a trained technician if you cannot complete the instructions.
• For 1982–1995 housings without a channel, trim the clutch-grip rubber flange as instructed. On compatible 1996-later housings, locate the flange in the switch-housing channel.
• Prepare and clean the clutch-side handlebar as instructed. Position the grip before the adhesive sets, approximately 6 seconds; hold firmly for 15 seconds and allow at least 30 minutes to cure before riding.
• Before starting, verify that the throttle moves freely and returns fully closed. Incorrect adjustment can cause loss of control and serious injury or death.
• Avoid adhesive contact with skin and eyes. Cover motorcycle areas where glue could drip.
• Check all fasteners, including preassembled items, before use and periodically afterward.
