Installation notes
- Reuse the original breather hose, clean all air-box sealing surfaces, and reconnect the hose to the two breather bolts.
- K&N specifies 45 in-lb recommended filter-installation torque. Follow the HD-1717 installation sheet each time the filter is serviced; incorrect sealing can damage the engine.
