Overview

Topless risers have an open lower bar clamp and no upper cap; a matching upper-clamp assembly must be supplied separately before a bar can be secured. For matching Bagger/ 2018-up Softail 3.5-inch-center mounts, with billet mounting bushings and illustrated mounting hardware. Select 1-inch or 1-1/8-inch bore, 6/8/10/12-inch height and Straight or 1.5-inch Kickback. Compatible Core top plates are sold separately: SF-IN-10-B/M for 1-inch or SF-IN-12-B/M for 1-1/8-inch. Gauge, gasket/bronze bushings and necessary harness extensions remain separate/reused. Use only a compatible upper-clamp assembly.

Installation notes

  • The matching Core-cap guide specifies blue threadlocker/18 in-lb for 8-32 gauge screws and alternating 6 ft-lb tightening of 1/4-20 top screws, keeping an even small gap. Touring/ 2018-up Softail solid bushings use specified 1/2-13 x 2.5-inch Grade 5 bolts at 55 ft-lb; do not substitute the Dyna/Dynamoto hardware setup. Configure the digital gauge/Koso D2, gasket and extensions separately following the matching top-cap instructions. Remove the riser assembly before changing legs. Have a qualified technician follow the matching vehicle and kit manuals, test slowly and recheck. Improper installation can cause severe injury or death.
