Overview

Open Road kit with an Adjustable ISO handlebar, Workman Kickback riser and the kit’s solid mounting bushings, for the Dyna/2017-and-earlier Softail/Sportster mounting base. The handlebar rises 5.5 inches; the selected assembled height from the mounting surface is 10.5, 12.5 or 14.5 inches. The lower handlebar has a matte finish. Compatible Softail Heritage Classic applications are limited to 12.5 or 14.5 inches; 10.5 inches is excluded. Integrated bar clamps are incompatible. Some applications or reinstallation of an OEM nacelle need modification. The Dovetail gauge mount, gauge housing and black-hardware upgrade are separate.

Installation notes

  • Verify the correct handlebar-end version and left/right orientation before installation; this kit uses a 1-1/8-inch bar clamp. Follow the Open Road kit instructions and replace the OEM rubber bushings with the supplied solid bushings. Route wiring before final tightening; depinning is recommended. Check O-rings, grommets and alignment slots and avoid pinching wires. Apply each joint’s specified torque from the appropriate guide. Check clutch operation before riding and adjust or reroute cables if necessary. Small bar-end rotation can occur because of the isolation system. Qualified installation is recommended; improper installation can cause serious injury or death. Test carefully at low speed and recheck the assembly.
