Fitment and installation

• For compatible Biltwell O/S handlebars with a 1-1/8-inch clamp section; confirm 3.5-inch fork-tree mounting centres and the 1/2-13 mounting interface.
• Not for 1-inch handlebar clamp sections or motorcycles with Springer forks.
• Installation requires professional knowledge and tools. Check control cables, hoses, wiring and clearance on the actual motorcycle.
• Use two 1/2-13 mounting bolts with flat washers and medium-strength blue threadlocker. Align the riser with the front wheel, then use a 3/4-inch socket and tighten to 30–40 ft-lb (40.6–54.2 N·m).
• Apply the same threadlocker to all four 5/16-18 clamp screws and start them by hand. Tighten progressively in an X pattern with a 1/4-inch Allen tool, then torque to 12–18 ft-lb (16.2–24.4 N·m).
• Thread condition or coating may require reworking with a tap or die.
• Hollow uprights permit internal wiring only with the required fabrication; this is not a prewired assembly.
• Check the top-clamp bolt pattern before reusing an original gauge bracket.
