Warranty policy

Warranty review depends on the product, brand, supplier, and written order terms.

Warranty coverage and additional commercial support vary by product, brand, manufacturer or supplier, item condition, and the written terms provided on the product page, order, invoice, or other applicable document. This page does not create one blanket fixed warranty period for every product sold by FANGSTER.

Statutory rights for defective goods

This warranty-review policy does not limit rights available under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, statutory defect remedies, or other mandatory law. Statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrect, or misdescribed goods are separate from any additional commercial warranty offered by FANGSTER, a brand, manufacturer, or supplier.

FANGSTER and FG own-brand products

FANGSTER and FG own-brand products are reviewed case by case unless a product page, order, invoice, or other written document states a specific warranty term. FANGSTER does not currently apply one blanket fixed warranty duration to all FANGSTER and FG products.

If FANGSTER provides an express written quality guarantee for a specific product, the applicable product page, order, or guarantee document will state its coverage, duration, commencement, and other legally required information.

MT and other third-party products

MT and other third-party products follow the applicable brand, manufacturer, or supplier warranty process where available. FANGSTER may assist with documentation and communication, and manufacturer or supplier review may be required for an additional commercial warranty claim. A third-party warranty process is not the consumer’s exclusive means of asserting statutory rights against FANGSTER.

Information required for warranty review

  • Order number, if available
  • Item SKU, OEM number, brand part number, or product name
  • A clear description of the issue and when it occurred
  • Photos or video showing the product, packaging, and issue
  • Installation method, vehicle, year, model, application, and fitment details when relevant

Fitment and installation review

Customers should confirm the SKU, OEM number, year, model, application, and fitment before purchase and installation. If a FANGSTER product page contains a material error, FANGSTER will review and provide an appropriate resolution. An incorrect installation or incompatible application may affect an additional commercial warranty where it caused the reported damage, but it does not eliminate statutory rights for a defect that existed independently of the installation or fitment issue.

Common commercial-warranty exclusions

Additional commercial warranty coverage generally does not apply to damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, alteration, accident, normal wear, inadequate maintenance, cosmetic wear after use, or an incompatible application. Any exclusion is applied according to the cause and evidence of the reported issue and does not limit non-waivable statutory rights.

Installation, energizing, cutting, modification, use, or alteration of an electrical or electronic product may affect the available commercial-warranty resolution where it caused or prevents reliable assessment of the issue. It does not, by itself, eliminate statutory rights relating to an independently existing defect.

Labor and other costs

To the extent permitted by applicable law, labor, installation, towing, downtime, incidental, consequential, and similar costs are not included in an additional commercial warranty unless FANGSTER agrees in writing. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Sending a product for review

Please contact FANGSTER before sending a product for warranty inspection so that we can confirm the available evidence and return instructions. A product will not be denied statutory defect rights solely because an RMA was not obtained before it was sent. Shipping and inspection arrangements will be determined according to the issue, applicable law, and the confirmed review process.
