Fit the axle from the left through the correct spacers, ABS sensor\/spacer and caliper bracket. Match both alignment marks. Front locknuts: 8 ft-lb; axle: 110 ft-lb, followed by C-clip; rear locknuts: 13–15 ft-lb; shock bolts: 55 ft-lb. ABS bearing seating and non-ABS spacers differ. Swingarm welds may need clearance work. Recheck existing shock spacers, vertical alignment and saddlebag clearance. Have a qualified technician follow the OEM manual, test slowly and recheck.
